I’m Viiu (pronounced “VEE-yoo”), a discovery-led Product Designer with 6+ years of experience in language tech. I specialize in making complex, information-heavy systems clear, approachable, and usable.

My approach is shaped by a background in philosophy and linguistics, which trained me to stay oriented to the core question, reason carefully from evidence, and balance the emotional impact with the functional logic of every design decision.

I thrive in early-stage, ambiguous problem spaces—helping teams frame the right problem, surface what matters, and align on a technical direction. I’m at my best when building tools that help people manage complex information, such as AI-driven research platforms, editorial workflows, or the internal systems that ensure information is created and trusted.
